Responsible for all operations of the company, as well as marketing the company’s services, while maintaining personal production in the sales and management of properties.

1990-1997: Frederick Realty, Inc.: Vice President

Responsible for all operations of property management, community association management, and general office management. Collected $6MM/yr in rent and managed rental property budgets totaling $6MM/yr. Managed homeowners association and condominium budgets of $640,000/yr.

1980-1990: Frederick Realty, Inc.: Broker

Listed and sold many types of properties throughout the Baltimore-metro area including apartments, retail space, offices, industrial facilities, and undeveloped land. Hired, trained, and supervised salespersons. Responsible for budgeting and establishing policies. Broker of record for Frederick Realty Inc. since 1986.

2007-2014: Property Owners Association of Greater Baltimore, Inc.: President

Initiated a drive to triple membership in this non-profit trade group representing rental property owners and developers in the Baltimore Area.  Organized seminars on property management and rental property investing.  Coordinated drives to affect legislation at the State and Local level.

1981-Present: Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors

Volunteered in several capacities.  Initiated the Political Affairs Committee to coordinate activities among the legislative activities of the organization.  Chaired legislation committees.  Served on the Board of Directors.  Served on the Professional Standards Committee to hear and review ethics complaints and arbitration matters.  Taught courses on Property Management, Listing and Selling Apartment Buildings, and Investment Real Estate.  Submitted articles for publication in the local Board newsletter.

1991-1992: Maryland/DC CCIM Chapter:  President

Served as President of our local Chapter.  Initiated training meetings and meetings to share and market properties for sale.

Mr. Frederick has earned the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation which is conferred by the Community Association Institute, as well as the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) which is conferred by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM). Mr. Frederick completed courses including “Success Strategies for Investment Real Estate,” “A Drug Resistant Property,” 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, historic tax credits, creative finance, fair housing laws, and agency law.
